In an anonymous sort of way.

I have been, to many people, over much of my life, as a radio singer and personality growing up in Haiti, being in bands as a young adult, recording two records, one of which had a hit song for three months in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and being an actor in a famous Thai pop hit song video a year ago.

In Haiti I couldn't go anywhere without people yelling my name and running after my horse, car, or public bus, and in Thailand, during the song's heyday, people would yell out my lines to me as I passed their houses on foot.

But mostly I just live my life and pay no attention.

That's pretty cool.

well in fact I am, just nobody has ever hard of me.
but honest answer is no, uh uh, no way, not ever.

No, I don't like being watched of looked at by lots of people, My introverted side coming out. Most of all I would not like to be judged but a lot of strangers.

I am famous..it all depends on your definition of Fame..is it Hollywood or Musically famous? ..I had a following in Atlanta that loved my food, did that make me famous? Too those people yes, to society at large no, for me it was gratifying.

3

Absolutely not. I would love the wealth though. Money issues, health issues and current uncertain future of our country has me more on edge than I care to be.

You wouldn't want the wealth?

@Anonbene LOL Typo, sorry, I'll fix.

Nope I like my life peaceful. If I could found a way to be peaceful and be rich at the same time than yeah I wouldn't mind being famous

Only if enough money comes along to deal with the fame.

I have been famous ( notorious) within a smaller sphere of influence. It was not as much fun as I imagined . I have never been rich and don't desire to be , either. I am now working at being good.

3

I've been regionally famous. I wouldn't want to be nationally famous, unless it was for doing good in the world.

Good answer

Just the money

Not a chance.

I'm pretty comfortable with being invisible.

It would be nice if people loved what I made, wrote, did, etc. Famous as in recognizable by people I don't know? Not so much.

I was mildly famous for a short time had my picture in the papers for being a woman plasterer. I had a full page spread in the Liverpool Echo under the title Dirty Women apparently they were looking for more Dirty women to make it a series but couldn't find any.The day that picture was taken we were doing a handover of a house renovation so I wasnt in my work clothes a bystander had on overalls so they asked him if I could borrow them - It was all pretty embarrassing. I was also in the Burnley Gazette and the photographer had taken the picture from below me, in a mill we were renovating the angle made me look like an Amazon with size ten shoes(I am five foot one and a half)

Nope.

A certain amount of recognition is enjoyable (whether one is famous or not). And if respect accompanies that recognition, I'd say that that would, or could, be enjoyable. However, I believe that ego, in any situation, could be a culprit. And if ego is paired with arrogance, well, I go the other way.

2

Only if also rich. lol.

2

I would prefer to be rich

1

Maybe. I've thought about it before because I write and I'm always thinking about what would happen if I actually published something that people liked. Should I use a pen name? Should I never use a photo? I don't think I would like not being able to go out of my house without someone trying to talk to me or take a photo like you see with paparazzi and celebrities, but I could handle answering fan mail or phone interviews or something like that. I want to be low key famous, I guess is what I'm saying. 😉

With all the crap from my past that could be dug up, some of which I am sure I do not remember, fame would probably be a short lived joy for me. I am sure I did, wrote, or said something just to get a reaction that would be brought to light

Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them! Shakespeare, Not always a choice.

Famous and rich are two different things. Anybody can get famous nowadays for better or worse.
If I could be both, sure. I'd buy a giant place in the middle of freaking nowhere and put a moat with alligators around it 😀
Without the wealth tho hell no thank you, not for better or worse.

Only if im famous enough to make a living off selling autographs

0

Only to sell my art for more so I could help animals more.
