tattoo?

maybe I need to get one in a more prominent location... just to avoid confusion! 🙂

@Donna_I Don't want anyone to say "snack time"?

@Dougl35534 lol! being on the menu is definately not on my bucket list... or would that be a post-bucket list.. ?

I got my first and only tattoo at the age of 60. It's fairly small and on my right forearm. I don't care if other people have tattoos or not. It's not my business.

The only time I like tattoos is it a man has one on his arm, a heart with my name in it. That I would not mind at all..

No thanks

Just the one, on my left arm 🙂

Definitely an enthusiastic YES!!!! I've got eleven at the moment and several more already planned for the near future. And no, I don't care what other people think.

I very much like them. Even if I am not fond of the particular image or style or whatnot I still enjoy being able to see a part of a person's story.

I find tattoos on women to be very unappealing. It's a good thing I'm old and in a relationship, as it seems most of the young women these days are tattooed. If I were a young single man it would be hard to find one without tattoos.

My last tattoo.

I've never actually had one done. Not because I was opposed to them, rather, I've never seen an option that I was willing to wear the rest of my life.
Although a work of Giger, or Escher might do the trick one day.

Express yourself as you are, and do. With your heartfelt thoughts on a page, not on your body.

@Varn I can understand that. I am a musician, and I show "me" through that quite often.

I had mine done back in 1972. People were aghast. "You're gonna be a 70 year old lady with a tattoo!!!"
My reply was, "I am no lady if I have a tattoo." It is in a place where I can show it in public or not. I had it redone 10 years ago covering the original which wasn't very. I am too cheap to waste money on such vanities currently.

Not my thing, but you do you and I do me.

Nope not me. Most guys I've dated have a tatoo or more.

I used to have a small one, but went through the laser removal process. Far more expensive and painful coming off than going on, but no regrets!

...don’t start that..

I have two. Inked 18 years apart. May get another when the first one starts to fade again.

Hey me too. I got my first 20 years ago when I earned my brown belt in karate. I promised the srcond half when I earned the black belt. I earned my black belt a year later, but never had free cash to afford until 2 summers ago. Its finished now.

@t1nick cool! Mine are a lot smaller. One after my daughter was born and the raven just because.

1

Sure. I have 3.

I have one.

one of many

Five but none are visible in work attire.
The only one partially visible is a tiny one on my wrist covered by a bracelet- the tat is literally an inch long by 1/4 wide. Now that my arms are showing signs of aging and often sport bruises and scratches from my geocaching habit, it is even less noticeable

Since I live in Florida and wear shorts often, most are visible since there is one on left calf, right thigh, and right foot has a black rose in memory of my first granddaughter and grandmother

I have a peace sign on my upper back that reflects a change in perspective after I survived cancer.

I have 'Sapere Aude' on my shoulder. It can be translated to mean 'Dare to Reason'. The phrase means a lot to me. I also have a DNA strand to signify the evolution of life rather than creation. An exploding star near the DNA means 'Forget Jesus, the stars died so that we could live.' (Lawrence Krauss). The stardust goes around the DNA.

I have 2. The first one is just decorative & I got it to cover a scar. The second one is little stick figures of my kids & I got it quite recently. They LOVE it.
