I have had a cheap Trac Fone in addition to my regular phone because I lost it (I think in an Uber) over New years holiday and I couldn't contact anyone.
Uber's lost and found policy sucked by the way.

So...it is just a phone I keep in case of an emergency.

And...to ring the thing when it has fallen behind cushions.

I buy the lowest minute plan available and have racked up close to 900 now.

I would donate the majority of that if there is a way to do it.

I just need to keep the phone running for about $20 for three months.
