Of the era lacking a vaccination… and the oldest, thus the first into school (no preschool), I vividly remember hallucinating from a fever induced delirium, including measles.. Missed so much of the first grade ..the classroom had been rearranged when I returned, teacher needing to find me a seat..

Not sure what led to what, but was relieved beyond description to know, with a vaccination, my children would not suffer the same.

And yet people are now foregoing the vaccination.
