Good. Relationships are tricky, we sometimes put up with a lot because unfortunately we doubt ourselves too much.

We share a goal; I no longer accept being so frustrated that I feel the need to yell...bad for my health...better to walk away.

Never been good at being yelled at, I'm too extra for that.

Ditto! And I also will not let that behavior go with family or co- workers anymore. I used to just ignore to keep the peace.

Very good decision... Increasing the volume is not a convincing argument...

Or a motivator

Yep. I had to let a couple of good prospects go because I got yelled at. One was really scary when she went into a psychotic like rage.

Add,credit card abuse, out of control spending and gambling away the money for needs; Rent, food, gas money for the vehicles, and child care(if any).

And for me especially if the yelling is accompanied by nasty name calling. With one partner I thought I was living with a salty sailer. However, we do often get frustrated in our relationships and under such times our voices can go up a few decibels. Maybe, we should invest in a decibel meter and set a top mark.
