President Trump said yesterday that the US and UK could have a trade deal. Now I am not one for conspiracy theories but I wonder if there may be a connection.

There you go...thats what we need to do. Join us...you can have the royals (most of us don't care about em anyway) and we can offset the disaster that is Brexit by selling our junk...erm classic British designs...to you guys. I'm not sure if Trump's trade deal included those has beens. I know he wants to sell us his chlorinated chickens and beef full of antibiotics so we must have something to exchange in return. The days of "cool Britannia" are long over and he already has our best golf courses. Maybe some local delicacies like your black pudding with those fat bits in it an we can throw in some haggis
Incidentally I don't know why the Chinese are getting so upset. As far as I am aware we have no aircraft for the carrier anyway.
This idiot is not fit to be a Government Minister, and it isn’t the first time he has brought the UK into ridicule....his name should be Gaff(in) Williamson. He was completely unknown until a couple of years ago when Mrs. May in her wisdom, made him Defence Secretary. This present govt. is completely dysfunctional and are making us into a laughing stock, the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. Chancellor Hammond was going to try to do a trade deal wirh China, now Williamson has pissed them off...bodes well for our apres Brexit trade plans....not!
