Sitting up here on my perch in a northern clime, I am struck by the ludicrousness of the whole proposal from a capitalist perspective — amongst others of course. I think that I am reasonably well informed and well-read in economics and politics but have yet to see an ROI or any other business case or even critique for the Wall. And now that the EPA has been gutted there won’t be an analysis of the environmental impact — I have seen some references to that being a concern of course. And of course the externalities are being minimized or ignored all together. Have I just missed those?
