Just watched Bohemian Rhapsody and really wish I had been able to enjoy the music during my teens instead of being taught that Queen was of the devil and listening to the music would invite demons into your life...
I attended a private boarding school in 1981-1982 and The Big Beat was one of our textbooks. The other image is from a website that expounds on the teaching from that book and others like it.
In 1983 I remember our youth pastor warning us not to listen to Queen’s Another One Bites the Dust song because of the back masking.

When I was in 10th grade, I came home one day to find my mom standing there with the sleeve of my Pink Floyd Animals album out. It wasn't something that I insisted on playing when she was home and I had no rebellious connection with the album, but when she informed me that the lyrics didn't do anything for her, I simply responded with the advice, "Then stop reading them." Clearly I lived to tell the tale.

What a shame that such nonsense was taught at your school. Glad you are now free to enjoy any type of music you like.
