Had to look up Momo - challende leading kids to commit suicide etc (I generally avoid kids - except in orange sauce recipe).
Humans have only dominated this planet for a relatively short time - Gaia follows a long term view of change.
Global warming is natures way of rebalancing - the world will not become uninhabitable, but parts of it will become inhospitable to humans. As the resources needed to support human life are depleted, the number of humans will fall. Fewer people will mean a diminished contribution to global warming.
I am sure the dinosaurs didn't worry too much about that big black speck in the sky - till it was too late...... as it already is too late to stop global warming.
