I have had the same thought. Not about moving to Utah, but about love and how if and when that strikes geography is less of a concern.

I've always wanted to retire to someplace fairly remote, with forests/mountains too. Far enough out for privacy, close enough to walk/bicycle in for supplies (or drive if need be). I DO want my modern amenities, though.

Congrats on the pay raise!! It's good that you are willing to relocate and are flexible. Just do your homework first about any area, i.e., property taxes, utilities, etc.

Good that you are flexible. My late partner was living in Plano and hadn't really thought about relocating. Once she visited the pacific NW she changed her mind. She never regretted it. How would relocating affect your job situation?

Utah is conservative might not like.. I live lower Delaware lot of liberal thinkers tolerant of alternative life large gay population.around rehoboth beach.plus live near beach.gay marriage is allowed.not a red state
