Wonderful! I saw a bird similar to this in a tree in Nairobi, Kenya. It was very large and then it flew away.

great blue heron. He must have dropped the baby off at the neighbors house

I live in the center of metro Lansing, michigan. Within a mile, there is a bold eagle nest, and a couple of great-blue rookeries.

The eagle's nest is the size of a small car. The blue's nests are micro thangs. It is the strangest to see these big birds standing in the nests. Just strange.

like too big for the nest? i have eagles here too

@btroje The blues build small nests. To see 4 of these birds standing in the trees is magic.

That’s beautiful!

I usually see them flying overhead maybe once a year at most out here in the high desert. Lucky to find him at rest

Great Blue Herons are one of my favorite birds.

pterodactyl evolved , beautiful, have them on the lakes around Preskit.
