It's my little brother's senior prom tonight, and I'm kinda reminiscing about my proms.

Oh they were fun, even for a nobody who had only 2 friends and no one wanted to go with like me.

My junior year I was first runner up prom queen, and not because of some Carrie bullshit or secret popularity, but because my school actually wanted it to be fair and inclusive to all so they drew names out of a top hat instead of voting. Still it was weird lol. I had people that never spoke to me or even bullies shocked at how I looked, because everyone thought I was a dyke (looking back I don't blame them. I wore mens clothes and never wore makeup, I looked very mannish most of the year).

Ah man, that was a fun night my junior prom.

Senior prom was awkward because I had already dropped out of high school and when prom season came around I was wistful about it and a friend from another school invited me to be his date to his, so I didn't know anyone except him and my friend who also went there but hated him lol. But it was fun too because afterward we all went and played hide and go seek at Walmart and then had a fun slumber party.
