I have one of them pesky wind generators on the house I just checked you can get lead foil on Amazon it works much better than aluminum foil for protecting yourselves against wind generator induced cancer, myself and the dogs will probably be able to get around good in it but I'll probably have to put flotation on the fish in the aquarium.

I don't think that either wind or solar are viable sources of energy. What happens on a calm day with light winds? Couldn't birds get injured or killed flying into the windmill vanes? Solar won't work up north, not enough sunlight. Setting up large solar panels in the desert looks ok on paper but I'm thinking there are animals in the desert such as lizards and tortoises that dig burrows . The solar panels would get in the way of nature. It's beginning to look like nuclear power is the best option for the foreseeable future. The biggest issue with nuclear power is proper disposing of nuclear waste.

The 'biggest' issue? To me it is the only issue. When nuclear goes bad, and it does, it is irreversible and the planet and its inhabitants suffer for decades. To me the bad far outweighs any good.

FFS, batteries. And the sun in the north is sunshiny enough
Also, far, far fewer birds are killed by turbines than electric wires or traffic. A few hundred thousand are killed by turbines yearly. Several million are killed by power lines. Tens of millions are killed by traffic.
The argument is designed to dissuade people from logic or even common sense. Easier to demonize than google.

@heymoe2001 I'm not totally against wind or solar. They just won't be 100% effective in parts of the country. I'm thinking there would have to a backup source of power such as fossil fuels.

next it will be solar energy !

The sun does set...you know.

? this is in context with Trumps assertion that wind powered generators causes cancer.

The NOISE from solar energy.

It is another personal, I'm a baby, rant because he list a law suit in Scotland and has to pay legal fees. Bet he is looking for ways to shaft the tax payers in that.

He is an absolute wretch of a human being.

@BufftonBeotch, I agree completely with first five words. Not so sure about the last four.

@mcgeo52 We can be friends.
