I was 9 years old and being raised by my grandmother when I went home from Sunday school and told her that I didn't want to go back there and that I though it was a bunch of hooy.
She, being a good Christian woman, believed in my right to believe or not and let me make my own choices. I've been a very happy atheist all my life and I've listened to all those who think I'll burn in hell and by the time we are done discussing the subject they find themselves questioning...lol.

Your grandmother sounds amazing!!!

There’s a lot worse things than burning in Hell like going to mass several times a week and being embittered by guilt. Never been a Catholic but have engaged with many wrecked people because of it over the years.

If more people were like your grand mother, the world might be an better place.

I wish your grandmother had been in my life.

I had a teacher in Sunday school say fossils of dinosaurs were created by the devil.

Say.....What?

I had heard that god deliberately put them there to deceive us.

@jlynn37 Wouldn't put it past him.
Seems like a real asshole.

@jlynn37, @Bobby9 And Noah's flood carved the Grand Canyon.

Of course.

@jlynn37, @Bobby9, @irascible In other things she was very kind, though. She never forgot a birthday.

I have heard that god put the fossils here to test our faith. But this is just evangelical bs.
