I learned a great deal in college. However, it is true that most teachers only teach facts, but not how to apply those facts to your life. So, yes, often we don't learn how to apply what we know to the real world until we go out into the real world.

quite an indictment but true. the american upper class only ever got that way from taking from the poor & disadvantaged.

@zesty They learned from the elders and ways of life. They did not have education with student debt but no jobs.
