Corporations took over our government a long time ago. Citizens United was the end of government by the people.
Let's not forget the #GOPTaxScam which allows corporations to have a lower tax rate than some middle class private citizens.

I would also like to let you know that by having any type of criticism you are not only anti-business you are also UN-AMERICAN.

Sadly, I don't think we ever did. Even James Madison only wanted land owners and the rich to vote and have a say in the country's government policies. It's always been the marketing campaign that the owners have advertised though so it sounds good.
