Oh I think that is very true. Each generation advances in technology and we as parents strive to enable our kids the opportunity to do things the way we did not or were able to
The results are minor cultural changes that when compared to two generations ago are profoundly different.

This was the reason I expressed myself so carefully. Unquestionable, there are huge technological changes. Do these really change the world? Guys calling their wives from the grocery store on the cell "which cheese should I buy honey?"
Really, a revolutionary advance in life. Lol

At least since the mid 20th Century there have always been cultural divides between kids and parents.

@zesty Ok I get it. Yes I see it also. I thought after the amazing womens movement in the sixties and the racial progress we would be sooooo much further along today, But you are right, it may take quite a few generations to do 180 degrees.
