What do you want done with your body when your dead ?

I have dedicated my life to learning I have specified in my will I would like to be donated to a hospital or university to be used as a learning tool possibly a cadaver.

I imagine the doctor might want to use the body to practice a difficult surgery.

as far as my funeral I have asked for an open bar, old rock and roll, and a roasted pig.

I want people to feel comfortable wearing bright colors, or Nothing at All

I'd say donate my body to medical school or science.

  1. Organ donation
  2. Cheapest cremation where I die
  3. Throw ashes in trash
  4. No rites whatsoever religious or otherwise
  5. Family should go out party and not be unhappy even for a second

I have this dream of setting up a mesh cage out in the desert and dieing in it. The beetles and flies can eat my flesh and leave my skeleton intact so my kids can go retrieve it and display it in their homes on a rotating basis. There's lots of details to work out.

Make sure you inform your next of kin of your decision outside of the will, as decisions made about the disposal of your remains will happen long before any reading of a will. I've done the same - full organ donor, remaining cadaver to the University of Manchester school of medicine.

Give everything away. Then plant me in a tree or that fungus suit from the Ted Talk.

Ideally? Tie my carcass to a bunker buster bomb and drop it on the White House.

Just pulled the yearly newsletter from a cemetery I own 6 plots in from my mailbox … but is now 3K miles away.. Prettiest cemetery in Oregon. After moving, if envisioning the upheaval of caskets with the next Cascadia subduction rip.. I think I’ll take up my oldest’s offer to spread my ashes in her favorite places within my home state, above ~
