Not likely a surprise to most people here. But Brown v the Bd of Education was the impetus for evangelicals to ultimately join with the Republican Party and it was described as the impetus for Public Choice Theory for which James McGill Buchanan won the Swedish Bank faux Nobel prize in 1986.
