He is not now and has never been a journalist. IMO he actually gives whistle blowers a bad name. Having said that, I'm not sure I support the 17 charges of espionage against him because that is just a tool being used by fuck face to damage the press (that don't support him). But that is what you get when you deal with someone like fuck face and his tribe of fuck facers.

Julian Assante would make PT Barnum look clueless. Cried "wolf" about Hillary for his Russian masters every week for over 2 years while hiding out in Ecuadorian Embassy in London to avoid child rape charges.....what a hero! NOT!

@ToolGuy actually, he was charged & a warrant for his arrest, by Swiss authorities, was issued 7 years ago, whereupon he sought asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy...that's why he was literally stuck there. Couldn't step over the threshold.......
@ToolGuy yes, he was wanted by the Swiss police in connection with the rape of a 12 year old...warrant issued. Took refuge in a foreign-country embassy with no extradition treaty....he was in London at the time......do not understand your confusion?
@AnneWimsey I am not here to defend Assange but are you perhaps confused with someone else? This all started with a warrant in Sweden for rape and the alleged victim was an adult woman who alleges he tampered with a condom (Sweden has a much different definition of what a rape can be). I can find nothing about a 12 year old and Swiss warrants. Do you perhaps have a link regarding this or something?

It was indeed Sweden, there were 2 charges, and yes they were "dropped" because of time limitations, not for lack of evidence. And Assange took refuge in the E ecuadorian Embassy After being bailed out from his arrest on those charges, so warrants were served & executed.
