Feminism and islamism cannot co-exist:::
A good review of the insanity in the UK.
Jess Phillips MP is in the right here, and the parents completely out of order. Diversity is part of the school curriculum, and by trying to prevent their children from knowing about difference in types of family relationships and sexual orientation, they are doing their children a grave disservice, and perpetuating ignorance and bigotry. Education, in my opinion should be secular, so religious affiliation of the parent should have no bearing on the education of the child, the State provides education at taxpayers’ expense, and a national curriculum is used as a framework. Those who do not agree with this are at liberty to pay to have their children educated privately, although private schools do have to follow certain regulated guidelines too. This has nothing to do with feminism, your reviewer is biased about that, but it does have much to do with Muslims wanting special treatment, which the local MP is pointing out can’t be done. These people are welcome in Britain, they work and pay taxes, they are able to follow their religion unhindered, but they have to understand that they need to conform to British standards of education,
