The great “dick” debate

I keep having this ONE person telling me I’m sexist because I use the word dick to describe someone being a jerk. Mind you I use it for everyone, regardless of gender. I also have no issue calling someone a twat regardless of gender if the word fits. Are these terms sexist, or are people too sensitive?

People are becoming waaaaayyyyyy too sensitive.

For me they are words, simple words. It’s the intent behind words that should be important as that is their function. You can say “Fuck me” as a general expletive without inferring any sexual connotations or cleverly derisive “if Typhoo put the ‘T’ in Britain you must be that bloke from Scunthorpe”

Words are harmless. It’s their context and connotation that deliver their real meaning.

"Dick" a single minded not very smart OCD person. Has its' uses.

That person has too much time on their hands to call that a sexist remark. Please. There are worse words than that. Good thing you didn't tell him to swallow a bucket of dicks! Lol

Adding a second word, I think, renders it neutral, for example, dick mouth, dick flicker, or Dick Shitterson.

Drama. People making shit up. I actually like using prick instead.

People are too sensitive. I recommend calling that ONE person a cunt at every opportunity.

I would never call Ann COULTER a dick even after a complete crotch exam revealing a 7 centimeter penis and testosterone producing testicles undescended absent a cervix and fallopian tubes....it will always be an EVIL CUNT ENEMY OF Atheists and scientists and civil rights in its fascist adolescent brain

This isn’t the bar scene, but the same speech later in the movie.

By the way, if I called you a schmias and you didnt know what it meant would it "hurt" you? Who decided "dick" was a bad thing? I kinda like mine. Many women can't live without having some. I already commented on your use of the term but one woman's "dick" is another woman's DICK ^ 🙂
