John McMurtry is a friend of mine and has written several well-received books when he was a professor of Philosophy at Guelph University which is a university in Ontario with a strong agricultural focus. He identified the Life-Money-Money-Money sequence that has increasingly replaced a Life-Money-Life-Money-Life sequence in our economy.
