For many years I would wake, screaming in terror, but I have no recollection of the nightmare. I am advised I should have therapy to unlock the memories that trouble me. I have difficulty dealing with the images I remember and have no desire to see those my brain has locked away - I dread what those images may be.
I now occasionally cry in my sleep and only occasionally have a nightmare. I will continue to accept that when struggling, my dog will lick away my sleeping tears and wake me

I almost never remember any dreams. I think this is weird.
