Ignorance is not unusual. It's the natural state of the human mind. There are many who will strive to defend its sanctity and then expect you to be impressed with their efforts.

If Jesus himself were to come down and try to talk to Evangelicals, they'd crucify again, and make it worse, out of spite.

Kind of funny, but also probably true.

Its no longer the Tea Party. Now its calls itself the Freedon Caucus. Still as virulent as ever.

Where I am you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a tea party asshat. These tea partiers consider the freedom caucus to be a bit too liberal. Uts like living in a neighborhood full of conservative mad hatters.

I feel for you. If Freedom Caucus is too liberal, that is scary

@t1nick the only reason I am still there is my grandson is on the autism spectrum & the school system is the best in the state. We (his dad &I) have a 5 year plan in place. W/me owing less than 40k on the property, we'll be in a good place to evaluate my grandsons need & the sales market for a move .

Pretty sure my bumper sticker keeps neighbors off my porch. "Sorry I missed church. I was busy practicing witchcraft & becoming a lesbian.

Lets hope it continues to keep them away.
