I remember having to make stuff up for confession every Saturday... who sins so much to have to confess once a week? I clearly was way behind in my sinning, given the long line every Saturday. Took decades to learn to give myself a pass when I actually did goof up in life.
The catholic church is fueled by guilt. Glad to be out of that trap!
