This last weekend I went back home to bury a very close family friend. She died because of drugs. It was a Catholic funeral and if you've ever been to one then you know just how miserable they are. It seemed most of the time was spent praising Jesus instead of talking about my friend. It's getting harder and harder to keep my mouth shut about such issues. Does anyone else have this problem?

I always use the analogy that our shit and syphliis is their bread and butter. You will never hear them more vocal that when some discomfort or sadness hits you unexpectantly and boy do they ever like to get you when your not knowing what they are really doing and only when you look back at it were able to really figure it out. When your born and when you pass are their two most prominent appearances that can always be remembered.
When you look up the word 'Sympathy' you will find that it is located between Shit and Syphiliis which is why I find it hard to forget. The different rites of passage among other religions and in early history are more meaningful and not as draube as we are given today.

I hear about god more in my every day life than on here. It's annoying. I keep quiet.
