Dog or cat?
Neither.I don't see an up side to having an animal crawl around my house leaving hair on my furniture. I don't like shopping for groceries,....why would I want the extra work of shopping for animal feed? It's tough enough cleaning up the messes I make...why would I want to clean up after an animal.
Cats!
Not so fond of their crazy need to "attack your foot NOW!"
or "Rub my belly so I can trap your hand in a cage of claws". Also, they can be real jerks.
Hmmm - why do I like cats?
I don't dislike any animals and also don't have any pets, at the moment.
Probably a good thing as some days I'm amazed I've managed to keep myself alive.
I have both,, Kona my dog,, and Tank the cat,,
Both. The cats are cool company but the dog is one of the guys and knows it. He's saved me.
I do not have a cat right now. 2 dogs, 4 horses, 3 rescue cows and a goose, a duck, 6 guineas and one chicken all hang out here !
My grandpup (stray bichon mix) lives with me along with my adult son and his fiance. I get all the benefits of living with pup and none of the responsibility.
Grew up with cats ..and chased by dogs. But dogs won me over.. and no more cats. Right now I’m free of both ...except when the free-ranging neighbor dogs spot me, but I’ve (gluten free) treats for them, leave out fresh water … and just bought a dog brush. Loved brushing my dogs ..the last having been killed by a bear
Jeezus, was the dog defending you from the bear?
Five cats and two dogs - all are strays that have showed up over the years because people abandon them at the church parking lot up the road. Here is Ollie - we rescued him from starving and freezing to death three years ago...he looks a bit better fed now
