Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi meet behind closed doors Friday
My guess is Nancy Pelosi called AOC in for a meeting to do these:
- Tell AOC that she has a bright future and career ahead of her
- Give a mouthful about AOC contradicting Pelosi
- Straighten her out and remind AOC of who is the boss
- Ask AOC to behave. Else she would be thrown out of all Congressional committees.
What do you think? Or this was just a happy kumbayaa? Pelosi says there was no hatchet to bury.

Absolutely, Pelosi is definitely going to put AOC in her place.
Look how absolutely distressed Pelosi looks in the attached image, that is undoubtedly the face of someone who isn't where they want to be.

You may be right but I have two things:
- Does Pelosi always look like that?
- Are AOC and 3 others not the new squad, more liberal who do not want to roll over with orders of the old guard who have not helped Washington do better and certainly not make compromises for American people?
@St-Sinner No, Pelosi doesn't always look like that. Specifically:
-Her smile is forced and unnatural.
-She is clamping her teeth together, possibly grinding them slightly
-Her eyebrows tilt inward farther than usual
-Her eyes are wide open
-Its hard to be sure so I might be wrong about this one, but judging by the reflection in the upper corner of her eye, her pupils are dilated.
If you have ever had to punish a subordinate for steeping out of line you will know that it isn't a pleasant experience for anyone. By chance do you know if this image is before or after the meeting?

Pelosi is everything wrong with the corporatist Dems; she's bought and paid for by the donor class and only wants to maintain the status quo. She represents the corruption and fecklessness of the D party. AOC represents everything that Pelosi isn't; she's committed to change and refuses to be bought.
Pelosi hates her and the whole progressive movement. The ones who need to go are Pelosi and her worthless ilk. Nothing will ever change with them around.
