Understand that the man who cheats is a liar. You already know he is lying to his wife, so you'd have to be an utter moron to think he isn't lying to you, too. His wife never did you any harm, don't help some dirtbag abuse her.

There's no way to tell if anything he ever said was true, but I'm betting against it. Doesn't matter. I'm not attracted to married men.
