The report from the UN has really upset the farmers around where I live. Much of the land is unsuitable for growing crops so grazing cattle and sheep has been carried out for generations.

Part of Humanists role in Climate Change needs to be the adoption of vegetarianism. Animal protein is a major contributor to greenhouse gases.

@ToolGuy The first step is to have a conversation like we are. I lobbied our Oregon state congress members earlier this year about a carbon trade bill and my Republican state Senator (minority leader) had not spoken to his aids about the climate since 2017.
