I just happened to notice something at my local tack and feed store. When they first opened they had a big gun display to the right just as you went in the door.
The first week they opened one of my former patients asked to look at one of the guns. THey gave it to him, he proceeded to fit the single bullet of the correct caliber into the gun and kill himself on the spot.
THey kept the guns for sale there for a while. I used another store.
I had to go in there the other day. All I saw of anything related to guns was a gun safe, Everything else was gone

Sorry you lost your patient in that manner..perhaps they stopped selling weapons due to his death..in their store, with their weapon and their bullet by his hand..one can only hope.

I really don't think his death phased them . THey still had guns for a few years after that.Interestingly he got the bullet somewhere else and took it to the store. He was on a mission. I am not sure what ultimately made them stop selling the guns but glad they did

Always sad when somebody takes their own life, poor chap! Good that the store did the right thing.
