Whoever told you it was nice to share your faith was lying to you. Sharing your faith is akin to sharing a fart in an elevator. You might feel good getting it out, but nobody wants to hear it.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.That is why churches encourage their followers to share their faith, it alienates them even more from the mainstream who treat them with hostile behaviour, and that forces them back ever deeper into the church for comfort and support. Especially when the church tells them, they are being told to do it, for the benefit of the mainstream, which makes them feel that the mainstream willfully misunderstands them and their intentions.
