I am a fit, intelligent and passionate hiker. Last year, I won the Scholarship Rockstar award as a volunteer college mentor at Wenatchee High School.

At age 24, I stopped eating preserved and processed meats, fast foods, hamburgers, deep fried food and sugary, fatty crap Americans love.

Different? You bet. A hippie? No. I outgrew that in the 1970s.

Stopped smoking pot in 1976. Don't miss it.
