Meet the model whose skin tone made her a social media sensation - The 'Melaniin Goddess'

She calls herself the 'Melaniin Goddess,' but years before Khoudia Diop came to celebrate her strikingly dark skin, the 19-year-old model struggled with bullying over her complexion.

Today, it's not only her proudest asset, it has made her an overnight social media sensation.

After partnering with The Colored Girl on a recent campaign to promote diversity, images of Diop went viral online. The Colored Girl is a creative agency dedicated to celebrating beauty in women of color.

Humans are judgmental creatures, and as such are naturally not so much racist, more like differentist. We can learn to enjoy those differences and see the beauty of other human beings.
If I had time, I could write a paper on the subject. Perhaps one day I will.
Directly to this young lady, she is a wonder to behold of human delight. I sincerely hope that she is not a vacuous walking coat hanger devoid of thought.
My late wife was in colour the polar opposite, being one of the pale blue Scottish types.

She looks like a beautiful woman. The white paint is kind of weird IMO. Her skin looks perfect. I wonder if that's natural or photo shopped.

All models are Photoshoped everywhere. The white paint is drawn in lines to create a contrast and bring out her tone.

@St-Sinner Yeah, I'd rather just admire someone's natural state. Not into excessive makeup, tats or piercings. Just me I guess.
