I recorded the Democratic Debates and watched them tonight. I’ve decided the moderates are right. We are better than Trump, but not deserving of Bernie. Maybe some day. Let’s keep pretending that private insurance, that unions “worked so hard for”, is better and more efficient than universal healthcare. #corporateownedhowevertalkprogressive

Progress is slow, destruction is fast.. Progressives can’t afford think-tanks and media networks. They have to watch things become so bad ..it becomes obvious to most - something finally needs done.

But after ‘it’s been done,’ if the US populous fails to support their president, as they allowed Obama to end up fighting intransigent R’s instead of progressing toward ‘Bernies’ dreams, it stops. Our cat’s scatter, as the dog’s pack up ~

We need to get money out of elections

@Rudy1962 And, we need ‘The Fairness Doctrine’ back (“The fairness doctrine of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), introduced in 1949, was a policy that required the holders of broadcast licenses both to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was—in the FCC's view—honest, equitable, and balanced.” ).

And, we need ‘Citizens United’ reversed (“Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, 558 U.S. 310 (2010), a landmark United States Supreme Court case concerning campaign finance. ... The ruling effectively freed labor unions and corporations to spend money on electioneering communications and to directly advocate for the election or defeat of candidates.” ).

@Varn Agreed

What you don't think you deserve Bernie?

Ohhh I deserve him. 🤪. The comment was due to frustration over the coverage, and lack of coverage, of Bernie. It was also fueled by, what I see, as disingenuous arguments used against taking the private sector out of healthcare in this country.

@Rudy1962 There is a reason why he doesn't get coverage. They are afraid of him, that the people will rise up, he is already very popular.
