Diversity just may save humans from extinction.

There are many attributed to Darwin. Probably the most common is: “It is not the strongest species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change.”

Well disagreeing would mean disagreeing with decades of research. That would be conspiracy theory territory. Sadly that doesn't stop a lot of people.

As someone who has spent a fair chunk of his life in other cultures, I couldn't agree more.

Agree.

Yep, the opposite of divinity.

One reason for my being on social media! You can meet people from unlimited backgrounds, countries and ethnic/racial cultures. I often enjoy well thought out debates (actual debates, not the name calling, sound byte generating reality shows on TV) with fact based support. If the other persons reasoning is “I believe”, “because”, degenerates into name calling or unsupported blabber, the discussion is over. There is always room for agree to disagree, since even facts seem to be fluid nowadays. Diversity for the sake of allowing those with violent, racist, unsupported threatening ideas a voice are not welcome into the discussions.

I absolutely agree. But we have to take advantage of that diversity in order to expand our horizons and to consolidate and enhance our knowledge and understanding.

Absolutely! I Need input other things other than my own thoughts, so helpful! (Even if rejected, ideas are stimulating!)
