Jody, my BFF, still works one day a week. Today is the day. Denny, her DH, took me out for breakfast this morning, at a place the two of them do not usually go. We were waited on by the wife of a man Denny used to work with. She raised her eyebrows; we made no explanation. I saw her whispering to a coworker. This is a small town and these people do not know me...let the gossip begin!
