Alabama, like some other Southern states has a large Black population and those white men in power want to hang on to power as long as possible.

Jeez this makes me sad and angry.

Alabama needs a political and social enema.

Yes, she tells it like it is.We need to organize voter registration drives in those states, get knowledgablke volunteers to help people gather the right paperwork, load them into the mini vans and stay with them through the registration process. Then do it again when it comes time to vote.
The only way to elliminate these restrictive, biased laws is to vote out of office the people who wrote and approved those laws.
It sounds like the perfect project for the Retired & senior volunteer corp (RSVP)
