Happy Birthday to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Had he lived, he would have turned 65 years old today.

I love this photo. Stevie Ray Vaughan and Janna Lapidus Leblanc were in love before SRV was taken away from her and all of his fans. Stevie Ray was clean, sober, and happy before the terrible helicopter accident that took his life.

Janna was a model, actor and author. She did not let Steve Ray's legacy fade. A grieving Janna threw herself into work. She continued modeling and traveling with a new sense of gratitude for each day. She also released the book, Four Years in Pictures: Offstage with Stevie Ray Vaughan, 1986-1990.
