I was happy to meet a fellow member tonight. Bud Franks is in Houston helping with the Red Cross and wrote to see if I'd like to meet for dinner or coffee. I took him to Niko Nikos Greek restaurant. We had a really nice time. I hope to meet other members if any are in the Houston area.

How fun!

It was fun for me to get out. The past year has been hard without my Richard. I am glad when another member contacts me about meeting. Bud is a very nice man, and we had a great conversation. Something I need since I'm alone much of the time.😉

That's wonderful! Nice that you live in a big city. I'd love to meet up with like-minded folks visiting Kauai. There doesn't seem to be any active members in my area.

My husband and I visited Kauai in 2009 and loved it. What a beautiful island it is. Wish I could live there, then we could start an Atheist group ourselves!!!!

What fun! I'm so glad you two were able to visit, and it's also great to see this happy photo of you both - thanks for sharing.

Very cool. I've met 4 members by traveling too and counting......Once I get my own place I will welcome friends I've made here.

I may have to come up your way for a visit.

Isn't it great! I've been fortunate enough to meet 13 members! I travel across country every year, Nevada to Michigan and back. I met 6 in Michigan this summer and a few of us met up a couple times. The other 7 I met in different states. Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. I love it!

Yes, it's great to meet some of the people that you get to know on the site. I hope to meet more in time.

Nice pic. I used to live there but have not been back since 1993.

Well, if you're ever in town, send me a message and we can get together for coffee or a bite to eat.

@Redheadedgammy Thanks. Sounds good.

Very nice!

Pretty toes there Gammy!

Thank you, even though it had cooled off here, I still could wear my pretty sandals.😉

Message me and let's get together some time. I'm starting to venture out more.😉

That's awesome!

I was in Houston this past Thurs and Fri. Wonderful pic. It’s odd. You both look happy, yet you are unbelievers.

LOL, isn't that great that we are happy unbelievers?

What a beautiful picture...both of you ! Love to know that members here are meeting up. Anyone coming to visit N.Ireland...please let me know!

I'm working on a visit to your beautiful Country!!! Just gotta get my house sold when the probate/affidavit process is done. 😉

@Redheadedgammy Love to meet up over here! Good luck with the sale.

Just a few miles from Houston, and have family to visit in Houston, will be in Stafford sometime within the next year. Would love to have some tea or coffee.

Just send me a message when you're going to be in this area and we can plan a meetup for coffee, tea or a bite to eat.

@Redheadedgammy Will do.

Good for you. Don't think I will ever meet another member, I live right out in the rural backwoods, at least by UK standards.

If I’m in rural Lincolnshire for any reason I’ll let you know!

@OwlInASack Yep Ripon is quite a way, two hours at least. I have thought, in the past, of messaging all the local members just to see if any are still active, and ask if they want to do an anti-christmas lunch if I get enough replies. But we are very thin on the ground in Linc's, and there seem to be a lot of fossil acounts on the site.

@OwlInASack I’m afraid that body of water called the Irish Sea is a barrier to me meeting up with anyone on the mainland, unless it is during a period when I’m visiting my family in England.

@OwlInASack Brrr! The Irish Sea is freezing! 😁
