I have always wondered why Americans are so trusting in God, it is even on their money but then they also have a picture of an eye atop a pyramid on it as well so the jury is out on that one.
Personally it is my belief that secularism should be the order of the day when it comes to politics and currency, at least this way it is more and more difficult to offend other cultures when they visit, a case in point being that in America they say "Happy Holidays" at Christmas and Thanks Giving where as here in Britain (we don't have Thanks Giving here) we say "Merry Christmas", we always have and we always will, we also remember our war dead by displaying a Poppy for Armistice Day and apparently that offends some people but hey, fuck them, these are our war dead and not theirs.

...and as for Happy Fucking Holidays.

Is this recent. I am sure there was always a Merry Christmas greeting not Happy Fucking Holiday!

Quite agree. In Australia we celebrate the war dead on Anzac Day.

Very moving and passed on to the children.

Just like your British cousins, you respect your war dead and so you should, they gave everything for us.
