I should have died years ago. Shutting down my brain is something I have never been good at.

well I'm personally glad you didn't 🙂

@TheoryNumber3 That is very nice of you to say. Thank you. Do you have a way to shut down?

@Sticks48 The only thing I can recommend is meditation. Check your phone for free meditation apps. I like one called "Calm". There's one exercise called "7 Days of Calm" and if you listen to the basics of meditation it will give you some tips.. And remember... the object is not to "clear" your mind of all thought. Nobody can do that. The object is to focus on your breathing... just let the thoughts come and go. It helped me a lot. Even if you start with just a minute or two, you will see the difference.

@TheoryNumber3 Thank you. I will give it a shot, but I came to the conclusion a while back I have ADD. I basically faked my way through most of school into college, where I finally gave up. When playing I spend a great deal of time not looking at the audience as I will get distracted. My brain can take a left turn on a dime.

@Sticks48 There is a pretty good chance that meditation will help you with that. I was always hesitant to try because, as I mentioned, I thought it meant sitting in a dark room trying not to think for an hour. But it is nothing like that. Plus deep breathing has tremendous medical benefits. Many of us don't realize that our breathing is shallow.

Please let me know if it works for you.

@TheoryNumber3 Thank you.

And tomorrow coffe/tea/wine will be good for you (or is it bad for you this time?).

I don't know. What time is it?
