Just seen a panicking mom at Aldi desparately pressing her key fob. Asking whats up, she tells me the car won't open because the battery in the fob is dead. Its raining shes trying to pick up her child from playschool and shes phoned the AA. i asked for her fob, pulled out the key and opened the door She thanks me and says at least she can sit in the car. I said no, try starting the car But the battery is dead, she says. Try it i said. Of course it roars into life. Just shows taking a step back and tackling the the immediate problem not the consequence is so common. She was so relieved i didnt even get a thanks. I was just glad to help and it made me feel id done my good dead for the day. My shining knight moment instead of a miserable old git day. 😁
