Facebook "memories" feature reposted a to-do list from Nakhon, Thailand, 7 years ago (I taught in Thailand from 2010 until last Nov.)

To do list:
Learn a new language....check (added Thai to the other 4)
Move next to the ocean in the tropics....check
Get a motorcycle and use it for transportation....check
Get a new job with plenty of variety and travel...check
Live in Asia for a while...check
Go birding on remote islands in the Pacific....check
Get rid of most of my junk collected over a lifetime....check
Go to exciting festivals almost every night....check
Live without a refrigerator..eat only fresh food....check
Live in an apartment near the sea.....check
Be the same weight I was at 16 years old (105 lbs)...check
Well, I'm ahead on my New Year's Resolutions anyway
