I used to listen to music that matched my mood. That was a mistake. It reinforced my detrimental attitudes. I'm doing much better listening to happy music. I understand that joy can be a bitter pill in the of midst depression. However, the resulting pleasure is worth the initial discomfort.

I totally get it. One day I realized the effect music has on my mood. Gotta go easy on the Leonard Cohen though I did buy his deathbed CD, You Want it Darker.

I prefer to get angry, personally. However, I'm happy for you that you've found a way to be content.
