Barack Obama: Women are better leaders than men [bbc.com]

Obama is on the speaking circuit. Possibly charging $100K per 2 hour speech plus expenses. Clinton did the same thing after leaving the White House and made millions. When I worked in New York, our executive office had a directory on the table in front of the seating for waiting guests - It was like the high school album with brief description, a photo and fee rate of each in the circuit. It was called the "The Speaking Circuit". It has 3 classes - Circuit A, B and C. Class A ($50K to over $100K per speech) included presidents, PMs and heads of state. Henry Kissinger was in Class A. Class B was secretaries, CEOs, Nobel laureates etc. Class C included ambassadors, artists, internationally recognized personalities. Each page had only one name and the paper was glossy photo paper.

Here Barack Obama seems to be just too happy with Michelle Obama.

Thats what people will pay to hear them speak, so why not? The group bringing them in rents a place, sells tickets to people (price determined by poularity of the speaker in question), and if they sell enough tickets to cover expenses everybody's happy.

Bill Clinton spoke at a venue I was working at and he was fantastic - worth every penny to the folks that footed the bill.

Not even gonna touch the men/women better leaders trope. 😉

Cash is a more powerful motivation than being right. But I have no qualms about them. More power to them. They have already proven they are great at what they did.

@St-Sinner cash is power
