This has been in the planning stages for a few years now, ever since the scouts stopped banning gay people from leadership positions and membership. The Mormons immediately withdrew their long standing support and began advising members to pull their kids out of the scouts. When many refused the church began setting up their own version of the Hitler youth looks like they are finally ready to go.
