Half the stuff I read about nowadays gives me literary diarrhea. I wonder whatever happened to REAL literature like Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, etc that actually wrote about things that made you want to free your mind?!

If you want to write a book it had better be a 6th grade level or lower or you'll NEVER get published! And Trump and the GOP have taken this mindset to whole new (LOW) level! They OPENLY celebrate ignorance and redneck stupidity! Sad.

Exactly! And here in the Deep South, they will reduce funds for education to nothing, all the while redirecting funds for things that won’t benefit the community as a whole. I’m an AVID lover of education and once o learned how to SEEK knowledge for myself it removes the veil and allowed me to see that I cannot CHOISE to be influenced by the machine that chooses to “dumb “ us down.
