Isaiah - went around preaching naked
Jeremiah - has a cattle yoke fastened around his neck
Hosea - married a prostitute and named his daughter Lo-Hurama which means unloved
Jonah- slept in belly of whale for 3 days
Ezekiel- swallowed a scroll because god said say. His diet consisted of barley caked bakers over cow manure. Had two sisters who were prostitutes
These people are the ones that wrote the Bible. In today’s time they would be in mental ward

And they didn’t write anything. And it is unlikely they existed anymore than Homer.
Before criticising these characters, fictional or non-fictional, you need to understand the world in which they are set.
